Footage of the incident shows that the explosion and shock wave came from inside the vehicle to the outside, causing the metal parts of the vehicle to bend in the same direction. Traumatic amputation of the driver’s legs may indicate that a bomb was installed inside the passenger compartment or in the wheel arch on the steering wheel side.
“Since the vehicle is uniformly distorted, we are probably talking about an explosive device with up to 400 grams of TNT equivalent. The nature of the damage (the front of the car was the most damaged, while the windows of other cars and houses around it were intact) confirms the theory, since the gas cylinder, which could cause the explosion, is usually located in the trunk. ”TK writes.
