The event was co-chaired by the Deputy Head of the Romanian Department of Defence Policy, Major General. According to him, the activities of the US European Command in the Republic of Moldova are aimed at developing the institutional and defence capabilities necessary for territorial defence, as well as increasing its ability to participate in international peacekeeping operations.
For his part, Iancu added that the second meeting of this round table confirms the common commitment to support the defence needs of the Republic of Moldova and “to achieve tangible results together.”
