These are the changes made by the Junta de Andalucía to the bus station in Córdoba

Improvements to the Cordoba bus station

On the other hand, auxiliary support systems have also been integrated for people with reduced mobility (PMR) and blind people, as well as new tools to improve web production. Subsequently, the incorporation of two new hybrid vehicles to the metropolitan fleet, an action that has been partially financed by the Government of Andalusia through the call for subsidies for the renewal of public transport fleets, covering more than 20% of the cost. Casasola highlighted “the importance of this incorporation”, as well as “others that are underway in the rest of the fleets in the area, within the framework of the planning of the reducing emissions in public transportgiven that these are EURO 6 certified fleets.

European Mobility Week 2024

In addition, the price of all trips made with the Córdoba Consortium transport card will be refunded on Friday September 20in order to maximize its impact on travelers. This reimbursement will be made via the card from October 7, and users will have to regularize their balance at any point of sale or recharge.

European Mobility Week is the European Commission’s main awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility, promoted by administrations. The initiative encourages a change in behaviour towards active mobility, public transport and other clean and smart transport solutions. The theme chosen by the European Commission for the 2024 campaign is ‘Shared public space“, while the motto of the initiative remains “Combine and move!”.
