The weather conditions and the rainy season recorded in recent hours in the Valencian Community have forced the cutting of roads and suspension of the circulation of several suburban and high-speed lines. These are these:

Trains concerned:

Renfe:

Traffic remains suspended on 5 lines of the Cercanías network and high-speed communications with origin or destination at the València Joaquín Sorolla station. Trains on the C1 València-Gandia, C2 València-Moixent, C3 València-Utiel, C5 València Caudiel and C6 València-Castelló lines are not running.

As for high-speed services, due to the consequences of the storm, traffic between Madrid and Valencia is suspended, as well as the AVE connection between Valencia and Seville.

On the other hand, long and medium distance services on the Valencia-Alicante-Murcia route are also suspended, as well as medium distance services between Valencia Albacete-Alcázar de San Juan and Valencia-Aragon and Valencia-Tortosa.

The company announced that due to weather conditions there would be no traffic on the Madrid-Valencia line. Trains affected: 6472, 6473, 6503, 6512, 6553, 6532, 6572, 6573, 6603, 6602.

Iryo:

All services between Madrid and Valencia have also been canceled. “We are working to relocate all passengers on the services in the coming days. These cancellations and relocations will be carried out at no cost to Customer Service,” they specify. The route to Alicante will not be affected for the weekend.

Roads affected:

Several national roads in the provinces of Valencia and Cuenca are closed due to the intense rains recorded in recent hours. Thus, access to Valencia from Madrid, the Valencia bypass and the roads connecting Valencia to Alicante are affected, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.

Serious consequences for vehicle traffic occur on the highways A-7, A-3, A-35, V-11, V-30, V-31, as well as on the highways N-3, N-322 and N. -330 passing through the municipalities of Picassent, L’Alcudia, Requena, Buñol Paterna, Alzira and Chiva (Valencia) and Minglanilla (Cuenca), among other municipalities.

The floods caused the road to be cut in several sections of the A-3 at kilometer 177; between 281 and 285; between 296 and 300; 320, 323 and 337. Likewise, in various sections of the A-7: at km 335; in 357 and 411.

On the A-35, at kilometer 44; on V-11, between km 0 and 1,650; on the V-30, at kilometers 5 and 6; on the V-31, at kilometer 6. On the N-3 highway, between kilometers 229 and 235 and 265 and 268. On the N-322, between 454 and 456 and on the N-330, between kilometers 192 and 212.

The Government Delegation of the Valencian Community and the Generalitat Valenciana launched this Wednesday an appeal to all citizens to avoid all road travel in the province of Valencia, which now also extends to that of Castellón, “both for safety reasons” and to keep communication routes clear so that they can be used by emergency services.

Likewise, it is recommended not to travel in areas affected by DANA, especially in the indicated areas of the province of Valencia and Cuenca. The ministry calls for “the greatest caution and to pay attention to the signage of alternative routes”.
