The Territorial Development Center of the University of Cordoba (UCO)with the support of Lucena City Hall, is entering its second academic year in the municipality with a wide range of training and research to continue contributing to the development of the city and the region in terms of education and employability.
The director of this center, Maribel Rodríguez, accompanied by the advisor for education, youth and employment training, Miriam Ortiz, announced the action plan for this course. 2024/25who will have more than 300 hours of training distributed in actions such as the title of university expert in electricity or electronics developed in September, or the three training pills for this month of November on Soft Skills, Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing, which “has “received great acceptance from citizens.”
Four month period
In its program for the following quarter, the Territorial Development Center will provide Internet of Things and Integrated Dashboard courses, to which will be added the training actions planned for the summer months and the preparation work for microcertificates for its launch during the next academic year. 25/26 in response to business requests.
Maribel Rodríguez also highlighted the lines of action planned for this course in the area of research and transfer, which will materialize through a series of projects and initiatives in collaboration with different organizations and companies, among which the recovery of the agreement of Cold chairparalyzed since May of the year 2023.
To all this will be added different activities aimed at citizens and events that will have the presence of this center, which Miriam Ortiz wanted to thank for her work aimed at “fostering the approach of the university to our territory, promoting economic development and social aspects of our city and our region.
The councilor of Lucena wanted to express the firm commitment of the Lucena Town Hall to the Territorial Development Center so that “this action plan is a complete success and that we continue to meet the needs of our population and our businesses in at the same time as we begin to create a collaborative network in the field of knowledge and research.
