He Integrated operational coordination center (CECOPI) of the Generalitat Valenciana agreed last Sunday extend movement restriction for another 48 hours of private vehicles on the access roads to the municipalities most affected by DANA, a measure in force since last Friday evening.
The extension of this restriction is due to the traffic forecasts managed by both the DGT and the Civil Guard for this Monday, with serious traffic difficulties on the main access roads to Valencia (V-30 and V-31), because the A-7 has maintained a section closed since last Tuesday after the waterspout.
In total, five roads in the province of Valencia remain impassable after the passage of DANA, a natural disaster which has so far caused 210 deaths in the Valencian Community.
As reported by 112, in Valencia You cannot travel on the A-7between Quart de Poblet and Torrent; the N-3from San Juan to Siete Aguas; the CV-33of Torrent; the CV-36from Picanya to the connection with the A-7; And the CV-50from Chiva.
Concretely, the roads concerned are the entrances and exits of the municipalities to and from the V-31 in its entirety, with the exception of the entrance to the city of Valencia; and accesses and exits to municipalities from kilometer 0 of the V-30 (the Port) to kilometer 9, which coincides with the access to the A-3in both directions, except when entering Valencia.
It is also traffic prohibited in the CV-366southern access to Torrent; THE CV-400between Valencia and Albal; THE CV-403between Xirivella and Torrent; THE CV-407between Picanya and Sedaví, and the CV-410 between Alaquàs and the Bonaire shopping center.
Mobility is limited to private vehicles, with the following exceptions: attendance at social and health centers; respect for professional and institutional obligations; return to the place of habitual residence; assistance and care for the elderly or minors, dependent, disabled or vulnerable; urgent actions by public bodies; situations of need or major cause.

This Monday, mobility restrictions also left several kilometers of traffic jams on different Valencian roads. At least six recorded early morning traffic jams totaling nearly 30 kilometers.
The most important occurred in the V-31known as chair trackwhich reaches 6.5 kilometers to Valencia.
According to the General Directorate of Traffic, the delay begins from kilometer 1 in Silla to kilometer 7.5 in Catarroja, while on this same road, towards Alicante, there is a delay from kilometer 13 in the hamlet of Horno from Alcedo at kilometer 10 to Alfafar.
On the other hand, in the Highway V-30 The reservoir extends from kilometer 11 in Quart de Poblet to kilometer 2 in Castellar-Oliveral towards the port of Valencia.
Likewise, the V-21 There is a delay of approximately six kilometers, from 10.4 in Albuixech to 16.5 in Alboraya, in the direction of Valencia. In the A-7 highway There are 5.5 kilometers of retention from kilometer 330 in Simetes (Valencia) to kilometer 335.5 towards Alicante; also from 299 to Sagunto to 302 towards Alicante; and from kilometer 345 to 344 towards Barcelona.
In the V-35 There is also a retention period of three kilometers, from kilometer 5 in Lloma Llarga to kilometer 8 towards Ademuz.
In the A-3 One kilometer of retention is recorded in Mislata from kilometer 351 to kilometer 352 towards Valencia. And on the CV-35 there are queues of 2.5 kilometers from kilometer 7 in La Coma (Paterna) to kilometer 4.5 in Burjassot, towards Valencia.
Avoid private vehicles
The Valencian Community Emergencies recommend teleworking and avoiding the use of private vehicles, since the troops continue their work in the terrain affected by DANA.
On the ground, they are deployed around 5,000 soldiers and around 2,100 technical resources.
More than 1,700 members of the provincial firefighting consortia, forest firefighters of the Generalitat and Civil Protection were also deployed, as well as more than 300 firefighters from other autonomy.
In the area of citizen security, the National Police Corps remains operational around 1,800 agents and the other civil guards 2,750alongside more than 440 members of the various local police forces.
Current alerts
According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the following alerts remain in force:
- Orange alert for rain on the north and south coast of Castellón, the coast of Valencia and the south coast of Alicante.
- Orange alert for storms on the south coast of Valencia.
- Yellow alert for rain in the southern interior of Castellón, the interior of Valencia and the northern coast of Alicante.
- Yellow alert for storms throughout the province of Castellón, north and inland south of Valencia and on the coast of Alicante.
Regarding emergencies, situation 2 is activated due to flooding in the provinces of Valencia and Castellón. And the population is advised:
- You should stay at home and, if possible, in elevated areas.
- If you are outside, take shelter in high places, do not travel on the roads.
- Do not approach coastal areas.
- Do not cross flooded tunnels, rivers or ravines.
- Remove vehicles from flood-prone areas.
- Pay attention at all times to the instructions of the authorities and Civil Protection services.
