WhatsApp conversations intercepted by the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard within the framework of Koldo affair reveal the requests, doubts and complaints of Jesica, girlfriend of the then minister José Luis Ábalos, with different characters in the plot investigated by the National Court.
In one of them, the young woman expresses her dissatisfaction with your salary and for deductions from your payroll which were applied to the salary she received after her employment in the public company Ineco, based on the portfolio of the person who was, at the time, her partner, Ábalos.
One of the intercepted conversations, which EL ESPAÑOL was able to access, occurs in April 2020. Jesica speaks with Joseba García, another Ineco employee and one of Koldo García’s brothers. The latter was right hand of the minister. Jesica sends Joseba a screenshot of her paycheck to ask about her salary.
On that date, the young woman earned 1,173 euros and had a permanent contract as an administrative assistant. “My salary had to be reduced because by becoming permanent, they will have increased my personal income tax.”.
Joseba confirms that his hypothesis is correct: “We paid well, hehehe”. She replies: “Well, nothing… I’ll be a mileurist now.” “These red communists, who take our money,” he jokes. Joseba laughs as she answers him.
Furthermore, according to the Civil Guard, he was an associate of Victor de Aldamathe businessman considered as the intermediary and commission agent for this plot, who paid 82,298 euros for rent in Jesica, who enjoyed a property in the center of Madrid between 2019 and 2022.
“After contextualizing the personal and professional relationship of JRG (Jesica), it was found that simultaneously with the duration of their contracts [en Ineco]JRG resided in a house located in the Plaza de España“, says one of the UCO reports published by this newspaper.
The investigators specify that, according to the real estate agency responsible for the accommodation, her rent was paid from March 2019 to September 2021, but Jesica He continued to live in this property until the end of March 2022..
The Civil Guard suspects that the person who paid the rent was an “alleged front man” from Aldama. The latter was arrested as part of the investigation into this matter. But the National Court released him. Recently, he was sent to prison for another alleged corruption plot, focused on hydrocarbon companies.
In the aforementioned report, the UCO investigators point out that “the information provided by the real estate company shows that the payment of rent for the property where Jesica resided, linked in a very personal way to Ábalos, was the responsibility of Aldama” .
Cell phones and complaints
In addition to this apartment, the young woman took the liberty of calling on different members of the network to satisfy her needs and resolve unforeseen circumstances that arose. On October 24, 2020, Koldo García bought an iPhone for his boss’s girlfriend. She believes that the storage capacity of the phone chosen by the advisor is not sufficient.

Jesica turned to Koldo for (almost) everything. From solving a problem in the apartment he enjoyed in the Plaza de España thanks to the plot to knowing the minister’s agenda. “José, what’s going on Friday at 3 p.m.?”he asks her once, referring to Ábalos.
She also told him about the disadvantages of being the minister’s girlfriend. He admitted the latter on October 24, 2019: “That I can’t do anything as a couple with José. I’ve had one for almost a year couple that no one knows or who I can talk to”. Koldo nodded and agreed with his opinion.
When Jesica stopped enjoying the apartment in the center of Madrid, she posted an image on her WhatsApp status from the window of what was until then her house. In the background, Gran Vía.
“Colorín colorado, this story is over,” wrote the minister’s ex-girlfriend on the photo. Joseba saw the photo in the young woman’s WhatsApp status and sent it to her brother. Koldo gets angry: “Perfect, 3 and a half years of free housing. HP (son of a bitch).”
