Oskar Matute, EH Bildu deputy in Congress, took advantage of his intervention at the meeting of the Permanent Deputation held this Tuesday in Congress to attack the right. Matute criticized the PP that, while asking Sánchez to appear to talk about “electoral fraud” in Venezuela and the “migratory emergency”, he is not doing so because of the “proliferation of tourist apartments” or racism on social networks.
“Every summer, in addition to the summer songs, they have the ‘summer snakes’. One is Venezuela, another Catalonia and another, of course, immigration,” lamented the deputy, who believes that this “condenses better than anything the obsessions of the right of the Spanish State” and that “they do not obey” the general feelings or concerns of the majority of society. “Racist, supremacist and recentralizing obsessions. Of course, with a flag on the wrist and with ‘I am Spanish, what do you want me to beat you for?'” he insisted.
For the MP, the right is “fundamentally multicultural during a tournament and then openly racist the rest of the time.” He also criticized the fact that there is “not a single request for the proliferation and lack of control of tourist apartments that expel people,” nor for the racism “that spreads the extreme right on social networks” or for the precariousness of youth employment. “Of course, not a single request to appear in court in the face of the systematic death of Palestinians due to Israel’s genocidal action,” he concluded.
