Women who started a fight in a public place in the city of Shirvan were arrested.
“Qafqazinfo” reports that according to the verdict of the Shirvan municipal court, city resident Solmaz Mammadova, born in 1962, and her daughter Zarifa Mammadova, born in 1986 (names and surnames conditional), were found guilty of hooliganism.
S. Mammadova was sentenced to 2 years and her daughter to 2 years and 6 months. They were arrested in the courtroom.
It was reported that some time ago Z. Mammadova learned that her 15-year-old daughter Shabnam (conditional) was in an intimate relationship with a man named Javid. They approached the police about the matter and investigations were launched and a person named Javid was also arrested.
When Zarifa and her mother questioned the teenager at home, Shabnam said that girls named Laman and Farida had lured her into immorality. After that, relations between the parties worsened. Together with her mother, Zarifa forbade her daughter’s friends from contacting Shabnam.
On the day of the incident, Z. Mammadova and her mother saw Solmaz Lama leaving the police station. In a fit of rage, they attacked Laman, beating him and pulling out his hair.
Subsequently, a criminal case was opened against the mother and daughter under article 221.3 (vandalism) of the Penal Code.
