National Police officers arrested in Madrid a Paraguayan fugitive wanted by Argentine authorities for voluntary homicide. The arrested person allegedly ended the victim’s life motivated by her alleged infidelity, stabbing her twice. For this reason, and after suspecting that the man could have fled to Spain, the Argentine authorities issued a notice International arrest warrantwhich ended with the man being located in Madrid.
The events for which he was wanted occurred in Argentina when the detainee, accompanied by his brother-in-law, stabbed his partner several times, ending her life. After this event, they provoked a fire at the victim’s home to hide the evidence that incriminated them.
This event acquired great media importance in Argentina and Paraguay, given the nature of the homicide and the social concern it caused.
