The national police arrested nine minors in Palma and one in Lugo because, supposedly, belong to the Trinitarios group of young babies. The gang is accused of attacking and threatening other minors near schools, public and recreational places on the island.
The minors are accused of possibleYes crimes of belonging to a criminal group. All were made available to the juvenile prosecutor’s office, according to European press. Likewise, the people arrested had already been the subject of police investigations. Six of them entered socio-educational centers.
“In this way, a new blow is dealt to violent youth groups from the early stages and to new minor members, in order to prevent this type of groups from consolidating in Mallorca,” said the National Police.
The arrests took place in recent weeks after police opened an investigation into various crimes committed by minors belonging to violent groups. The survey developed throughout 2024.
In a press release, the National Police indicated that following the investigation, officers managed to identify all the members of the group of young people. Officers made the arrests, which resulted in nine arrests in Palma and another in Lugo.
