The Almería Provincial Prosecutor’s Office will ask for ten years and nine months in prison for two men accused of forcing another to leave a home in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) and finally throwing him out of a third floor window when he had not voluntarily acceded to his complaints.
In his provisional indictment, consulted by Europa Press, the prosecutor accuses the two men of the crime of attempted homicide, for which he demands nine years in prison, and another of coercion, for which he charges one year and nine months in prison. . He also requests compensation of 12,500 euros for the victim.
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the events occurred around 10 p.m. on December 30, 2020, when the two accused appeared in the company of other unidentified people at the victim’s home, located in Plaza Andalucía in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) .
Once there, they approached the injured person, who lived with a partner, with the aim of “pressuring and restricting” his freedom, ordering him to leave the home “several times” and brandishing “a knife “, according to the prosecutor’s account.
Thus, at one point and in response to the purple man’s refusal to leave the house, the two accused forcibly grabbed the victim and, with “the intention of ending his life”, they allegedly threw him through the window of the victim’s home. bedroom. third floor on the street before leaving the property.
The victim fell to the ground and suffered various serious injuries, including pneumothorax and pulmonary contusion with fracture of several ribs and an arm, as well as a sprained ankle, among others, for which he had to undergo a surgery.
The victim’s injuries took approximately three months to heal, during which he was unable to perform his usual duties, including the five days he spent in hospital. Plus, there were consequences. The trial is scheduled for this Tuesday in the third section of the Almería Provincial Court from 10 a.m.
