After two days of exhibition at the CEF Physical Education Center No. 1, the Provincial Science and Technology Fair in its Steam 2024 edition has ended. The selected works are able to move on to the next instance.
The science fair allows students to apply knowledge learned in class to real-world situations, making learning more relevant and meaningful. Behind each project, there are hours of research, experimentation, and teamwork.
“We are happy and grateful because at the fair we were able to see the innovative projects of students from all over the province as well as the work carried out by our fellow teachers,” said the director of the secondary school, Sergio Gutiérrez, during the closing ceremony of the Provincial Science and Technology Fair, an occasion in which he also highlighted the work carried out by the different sectors of the Ministry of Education and the support of families.
“This is one of the most important activities for the educational community because it reflects knowledge, and also because of the desire of students to make known everything they have built with their teachers throughout the school year,” said the director of Planning and Educational Research. Julio Simonit, who conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Education Práxedes López, said that “the minister visited this fair on Wednesday and left satisfied with the results obtained,” he said.
In the same sense, for the coordinator of Science and Technology Gustavo Berbere, this Fair is every year an event of great importance at the educational and social level. “I want to thank everyone and tell them that this was possible thanks to a great effort by the Ministry of Education,” he said.
