The section of the Madrid Cercanías network between Atocha and Pozuelo will remain closed between October 10 and 13 for infrastructure works that will affect traffic on the C-1 lines (Prince Pío-Chamartin), C-7 (Alcalá de Henares-Príncipe Pío) and C-10 (Villalba-Chamartín).
Renfe has activated a alternative transportation plan facilitate the mobility of network users during these four days which envisage two special bus servicesthe company said.
Concretely, the train service will be interrupted from 12:30 a.m. October 10 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14 at Méndez Álvaro Pasillo Verde stations (stop C-5 will remain operational), Delicias, Pirámides, Príncipe Pío and Aravaca.
Deleted sections
- C-1 (Prince Pío-Chamartin): There will be train service between Chamartín and Atocha, in both directions, while the section between Príncipe Pío and Atocha will be eliminated. The C-7 (Alcalá de Henares-Príncipe Pío) will end in Pozuelo and the Pozuelo-Príncipe Pío section will be eliminated.
- C-10 (Villalba-Chamartín): There will be train service between Villalba and Pozuelo (in both directions) and the Pozuelo-Chamartín section will be eliminated.
- THE Délicias station will be closed to the public and Méndez Álvaro Station will only provide C-5 line service and connection with buses and metro.

Special bus services
Renfe activated two special services by bus:
- SE1between Aravaca and Príncipe Píowill begin at 6:05 a.m. on October 10 and end at 12:05 a.m. on October 14, with a frequency of between 5 and 10 minutes on weekdays, between 10 and 15 minutes on Saturday and between 12 and 15 minutes on Sunday.
- SE2 will connect the station El Barrial with Príncipe Pío without intermediate stops. It will begin on the 10th at 6:00 a.m. and end at 11:55 p.m. on October 13, with a frequency of between 5 and 10 minutes on weekdays, between 10 and 15 minutes on Saturday and between 12 and 15 minutes on Sunday. .
In addition, travelers with a valid Cercanías transport ticket will be able to use line 163 of the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) free of charge from El Barrial and Aravaca (it does not stop in Pozuelo).
