They posted photos of the younger members of the group to attract the men. When they went to the meeting, they beat them and stole their bank details. They are also accused of hate crime for insulting these men because of their sexual condition.
As explained to the media on Friday by agent Paula, spokesperson for the operation, the first complaint related to these events was filed on June 22, although no others were registered until the end of August. That is when the investigation began, Several complaints have been detected in different places in the Community of Madrid coinciding with other events with identical characteristics, which alerted investigators to the fact that they could be the same perpetrators.
The inmates contacted the victims through different contact platforms such as Grinder and Wapo, according to police sources. use fake profile which included a fleeting photograph, therefore not recoverable later, of the youngest members. They did not put a photo on their avatar, but during conversations, they sent the photo of the most beautiful character of the group, taking advantage of his pretty eyes and his marked jaw, to attract their victims.
The criminals were Spanish and all knew each other for having lived in a municipality of Castilla-La Mancha near the capital and they left from there to commit the criminal acts, once twice in the same night. They liked to act between 2 and 4 in the morning, but one attack took place at 6 pm and another at 10 pm.
