In the city of Mitla, in southern Mexico, archaeologists have discovered a network of tunnels that served as a gateway to the world of the dead for Hindus.
Oku.Az Lenda.ru writes about this.
“It is too early to comment on the length of the tunnels. It is possible that the network was multi-level,” archaeologist Marco Vigato told reporters.
In 2023, employees of the National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico allegedly began working on the territory of the San Pablo Apostolic Catholic Church. The study of the soil beneath its foundations has baffled geologists.
As a result of the excavations, archaeologists discovered a network of tunnels extending outside the building. In some places the depth of the tunnels reached 30 meters.
