“They do not pose a threat to him”

This is the eternal debate in the world of tennis: Are the best in history Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal or Roger Federer? As for the titles, there is no discussion. But yes for many other things. There are those who consider Nole to be the third of this trio although he is the tennis player with the most.

AND Matthew Wilanderin ‘Eurosport’, believes that the Serbian is not at all worried about this because he did not consider Rafa and Roger as a threat in this debate on the ‘Big 3’.

“I think Novak is in a position where Federer and Nadal don’t worry him.”. He surpassed them in Grand Slam victories and all major records. I don’t think they pose a threat to him. Now I don’t believe it,” said the former tennis player the week the Six Kings SlamSix Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia.

“I think Novak told us all, ‘Hey, I want to keep playing because these guys, Alcaraz, Sinner and the othersthey are very good and push me to be better and better. “He may not be as good as he used to be, but he brings out the best in himself every day and he is able to do that even after knee surgery,” he explains.

He describes Djokovic as a “survivor” because he competed with the two considered the greatest: “Novak lived under the storm. He is younger than Roger and Rafa. He survived them all. “He is the most successful male tennis player ever.”

“I think he should be very proud. Novak is the tennis player who has felt the effect of the Big 2 the most, more than any other. It must be very pleasant. Djokovic’s effect is clear when we talk about physique on all players today,” concludes Mats, clearly betting on Nole in this debate about who is the best tennis player of all time.
