Neighbors, as well as many people from other municipalities, are moves closer to Valencia to help those affected by the devastation of DANAwhich has already left more than 200 dead in the autonomous community and thousands missing. To protect their health and prevent them from becoming new victims, emergency services are asking to take care of precautions and they insist that they walk carefully among the damage.
This is why, they insist, in the importance of wearing a mask, gloves, high boots and protective glasses to prevent the spread of diseases, due to the amount of garbage that accumulates in its streets, as well as the state of decomposition in which the lifeless bodies that have not yet been rescued are beginning to find themselves.
They emphasize the importance of taking precautions, especially when handling materials such as iron or wood, which can cause injuries and therefore infections.
Emergency services also recall that several health care points in different districts of the city: the health center of Castelar and other extraordinary points were activated in Alfafar -the municipal building of Tauleta and the center for the elderly in the Orba district- and two schools of Sedavi -IES Sedaví and the Blasco Ibáñez school-.
