Members of the Provincial Firefighters Consortium evacuated a building in the city of Massanassa (Valencia) due to the breakage of several beams that damaged the ground, as reported by the general director of Forest Fire Prevention, Rosa Tourís, during her appearance to transmit the information provided to the Integrated Center of Operational Coordination (Cecopi), formed by DANA on October 29.
According to Tourís, the expulsion – which affected one family – took place “normally” and will be monitored. In this sense, he stressed that “all this type of work is fundamental to guarantee the safety of people.”
The Cecopi spokesperson stressed that, thanks to the work carried out since the start of the emergency, a monitoring and inspections of the infrastructure of all municipalities, including the state of bridges and roads belonging to the Foral Deputation and the Generalitat, on which measurements are taken.
In the case of the Generalitat, he explained that there are already 16 of the 18 affected roads operational and the state of supplies, which are “practically completely replaced”, and the state of the infrastructure of the municipalities is also being improved. ‘exam.
“This monitoring is evaluated daily with town halls and in a coordinated manner,” he explained in response to the media. Following DANA, evictions took place in other municipalities such as Catarroja or Chiva.
