A group of archaeologists and historians are analyzing the remains of several slaughtered during the civil war and which appeared in the cemetery of O Valin Narón (La Coruña).
It’s around noon shot down on the night of December 26 to 27, 1936although there is no information on their identity. The majority could be crew members of Republican Navy ships murdered in the Ferrol region.
These are not ordinary burials, and on some skulls there are marks compatible with bullet holes. Everything indicates that this is the first of seven mass graves that could be found under the ground of this Narón cemetery.
