The Civil Guard found the body of a woman missing since August 31 in a house in the Madrid town of Villalbilla, in a soundproof cell and detained her husband, pending determination of whether she died violently.
After his discovery, the man was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, sources from the Government Delegation of Madrid told EFE. The investigation to determine the circumstances of his death remains open, according to the same sources.
The deceased is Raquel BL, 54 years old, whose disappearance on August 31 was alerted by the association SOS Disparus and the National Center for Missing Persons (CNDES), dependent on the Ministry of the Interior.
As published by the news channel Prensa Ibérica, Raquel’s body was found in a soundproof cell.
