Human remains found in a house Colorado last January, they were identified as those of Amanda Overstreeta teenager who wore missing for almost 20 years.
The discovery took place in mid-January when the human remains were found. inside a chest freezer while the homeowners were cleaning the new two-story house they had just purchased.
As reported by CNN, the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office believes that the young woman, who was daughter of the former owner from home, was around 16 years old when he disappeared. According to them, she had not been “seen or heard from since April 2005”.
It is not yet known whether the sheriff’s office has identified the cause of death.
