The agents of the emergency system responsible for tracking possible deaths found this Wednesday the lifeless bodies of the Rubén and Izanthe two brothers, aged 3 and 5, disappeared in the town of Torrent after the DANA in Valencia on Tuesday October 29.
The children disappeared in the Curra urbanization, in the area of More Judgeafter the flood entered their house and swept them away. At that time, they were playing house with their father, who was able to cling to a tree, where he waited for hours until he was rescued.
For two weeks, family, friends and neighbors have been searching for the children in different areas of the ravine, in coordination with state security forces and agencies, as well as special relief agents arriving from other parts of the world, such as Mexico.
In a message shared on social networks by some of their loved ones, they confirm the fateful news of the discovery of the lifeless bodies of Rubén and Izan. “This nightmare of two weeks of madness is over. Thank you to all the volunteers from all over Spain. We are speechless by all the help we have received these days. We will be grateful all our lives,” they say.
“Now you can both rest in peace together. We fought until the end and never gave up until we heard the news. You left very early and very unfairly but we will never forget you. Rest in peace,” the family’s statement concluded.
