National Police officers have deployed a large security force for the crime prevention and flights in the Valencian capital, more specifically in various areas of the Transport district such as bus station and its surroundings, as well as in the bed of the Turia River.
During this operation, the agents identified a total of 167 peoplein addition to arresting five individuals for theft, receiving stolen goods, prosecution or theft with violence. Likewise, 31 complaint reports were drawn up, five vehicles were checked and 19 other police actions were carried out.
This system was put in place with the aim of preventing and, where appropriate, respond to possible thefts committed in the area, the victims being mostly passengers of the bus station or citizens nearby.
On behalf of the police station Transits The Operational Intervention Group (GOR) and the Mobile Section of the Provincial Brigade of Citizen Security of Valencia participated, thus reinforcing the surveillance and protection tasks, in addition to improving contacts with private security personnel, paying special attention to the night shift, with the aim of offering higher levels of prevention and security at these points.
