The lifeless body of economist Antonio Noblejas, 76, former general director of the EDEM business school, was found this Sunday near the Poyo ravine, in the municipality of Riba-roja, as confirmed by EFE sources. family.
The body was located yesterday at noon by the Reserve and Security Group (GRS) and the Special Mountain Rescue Intervention Group (GREIM) and added a new victim, the 219th, to those killed by the DANA who , on October 29, devastated part of the province of Valencia.
One of the businessman’s sons informed EFE that the Civil Guard informed this afternoon that the body had been identified as that of his father.
Antonio Noblejas disappeared on October 29 while returning from Chiva by car after sharing a meal with three other businessmen, José Luis Marín, owner of Mas Camarena schools; Vicente Tarancón, owner of the sportswear company Luanvi, and Miguel Bordeos Baño, founder of the SPB company, whose lifeless bodies were also found.
The number of deaths recorded due to DANA and the subsequent floods that affected the province of Valencia remains at 219, while the number of missing people is 11, two fewer than yesterday, according to the latest official report of the Data Integration Center. (CID).
These 219 deceased people have all been autopsied and are fully identified: 170 by fingerprints, 45 by DNA analysis and 4 by hospital identification during their lifetime.
For their part, the ‘ante mortem’ offices set up by the National Police and the Civil Guard in collaboration with forensic doctors now have 11 active files of disappearance reports, two fewer than yesterday.
The two parameters, active disappearances and the total number of deaths, are different and should therefore under no circumstances be added together, underlines the CID.
In this way, compared to the results of the day before, the Institute of Legal Medicine of Valencia has not recorded any additional deaths, the forensic doctors have carried out two new autopsies and there is a new identification of a deceased.
