A 65-year-old man who turned his house into a den of immorality and lured several women into prostitution in Shamakhi district was charged with criminal responsibility.
“Qafqazinfo” reports that the criminal case opened against Mafkura Mustafayeva, born in 1959 and living in the city of Shamakhi, has been referred to the court.
It was reported that M. Mustafayeva was found responsible for similar acts 6 years ago and an indictment was issued against her. However, at that time Mafkura Mustafayeva filed an appeal against the verdict of the Shamakhi District Court and was acquitted.
Despite this, he continued with those actions. He then rented his house located in the city of Shamakhi for 20 to 30 manats a night to women who were engaged in prostitution. He also lured several women, as well as their neighbor, into prostitution and had them meet various people in exchange for money.
It also became known that there is a criminal case against M. Mustafayeva in the Khazar region under Article 188 (violation of the right to own, use or lease land) of the Criminal Code.
After six years, the Shamakhi District Court re-sentenced M. Mustafayeva for the same acts. He was found guilty under articles 243 and 244 of the Penal Code (participation in prostitution and maintaining dens of immorality).
The sentences of the Shamakhi and Khazar district courts were combined and the 65-year-old woman was fined 6,500 manats and sentenced to one year of restriction of freedom. An electronic tracking device is placed on your leg.
