They steal a credit card and are caught in a shopping center buying three iPhones worth 4,500 euros

The National Police have arrested two women and a man for allegedly making purchases worth a total of 4,500 euros in a shopping centre in Alicante with a stolen card previously to a victim who had reported the theft. Those arrested were apparently part of a group of travelers who traveled in rental cars to ensure rapid mobility between communities.

The officers began investigating when a person reported that his belongings had been stolen, a fact that had already been reported, and confirmed that at that time several of his bank cards were being used, as reported by the National Police in a statement.

The Police, after learning of the facts, verified that purchases had been made with the reported cards for a total amount of 4,500 euros. Among the items purchased were: three high-end mobile phonesof the iPhone brand, worth 1,350 euros each.

Likewise, the agents identified the vehicle that the suspects allegedly used to make the purchases and discovered that the suspects were at the same time in another shopping center located in San Vicente del Raspeig (Alicante).

The coordination carried out by the Intelligent Command and Control Coordination Center (Room 091) of citizen security patrols allowed the agents to reach the mall in which they located the identified vehicle and the alleged perpetrators ready to commit new scams.

The police then searched the vehicle and the people being investigated, and located various personal effects and documents that did not belong to them, which is why they were arrested.

During this action, anonymous bank cards were seized; eleven mobile phones, including five high-end ones; a multitude of signature clothes and accessories; some jewelry; small quantities of narcotic substances; 4,215 euros in cash and other foreign currencies.

The National Police discovered that the alleged perpetrators of the events are three people, of Chilean nationality, between 77 and 25 years oldwho used rental vehicles to travel and ensure rapid mobility between sites. The detainees were placed at the disposal of the investigating court of San Vicente del Raspeig and are charged with the crime of fraud.
