Agents of the Main Post of the Civil Guard of Majadahonda, as part of Operation “Vitrum”, arrested two people for their alleged involvement in 40 crimes of theft with force inside vehicles in the Madrid town of Majadahonda.
The investigation began in mid-October, when several complaints were received from citizens who They had been forcefully stolen inside their vehicle while parked.
All the complaints coincided with the same modus operandi, at night they broke the windows and took the belongings. of value that was inside. During the same night, they stole personal items from seven cars.
The progress of the investigation made it possible to locate a house in the center of the city where the perpetrators could be found. use as an operations center and storage location for various items stolen from cars.
Once sufficient evidence was obtained, the competent judicial authority authorized the registration of the property, on October 30, with the support of the Citizen Security Command Unit (USECIC) and with the collaboration of the Local Police, securing the arrest of both perpetrators and locating a multitude of items from the robberies inside.
Effects exceeding 11,000 euros were recovered, among which mainly sports equipment, glasses, accessories and various documents stand out. The detainees are a man and a woman of Spanish origin, aged 42 and 41.residents of the town where the events occurred and between them there were a total of 90 arrests for similar events.
