In addition, the leader of the group was found with 1,610 euros at his home, an amount that came from an intermediation in the sale and purchase of cocaine, according to the Public Ministry.

At the time of his arrest, the “chef” expert had been serving two years of a six-year prison sentence, handed down in 2008, for crimes against public health and membership in a criminal organization, as well as a fine of 20,000 euros. euros. After his arrest, he and his four alleged accomplices were placed in pre-trial detention for several months and managed to avoid prison by paying bail.

Next Wednesday, everyone is summoned to the Provincial Court of Toledo. There, each will face a prison sentence ranging from three years and three months to five years and three months, in addition to a fine.
