A database of people subjected to domestic violence will be created in Azerbaijan.
“Informe” reports that this was reflected in the new action plan drawn up by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Problems in the fight against domestic violence.
Rahil Suleymanzadeh, an employee of the Committee’s Legal Assurance Department, said in a live broadcast on the institution’s official Facebook page that the draft action plan will be sent to relevant state institutions in the coming months:
“The citizens’ information bank will reflect information on whether the applicant was previously subjected to violence, what legal assistance was provided, the outcome of the process, etc.”
It should be noted that the implementation period of the “National Action Plan for 2020-2023 on combating domestic violence in the Republic of Azerbaijan” has ended.
