People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Maryana Bezuglaya accused Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky and Head of the Ministry of Defense Rustem Umerov of criminal activity and called on Vladimir Zelensky to dismiss both of them. She wrote about this on her Telegram channel.
The day before, “at Syrsky’s request,” Umerov had fired the chief inspector of the Ministry of Defense. Igor Voronchenkowho spoke at a meeting of the Headquarters about the catastrophic situation with the training of recruits in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which shocked those gathered there, Bezuglaya said.
“Immediately after that (Voronchenko. – EADaily) reported to Headquarters about the catastrophic training situation at the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Voronchenko’s frank and detailed report shocked everyone and caused great anger in Syrsky. GIMO was the last outpost that provided at least some kind of knowledge about what was really happening in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” – notes from the popular deputy.
The inspectorate was also involved in the investigation into the downing of an aircraft by the Ukrainian air defence, including an F-16 fighter, and, according to the MP, Syrsky and Umerov will try to destroy evidence of this.
“I assume that there will now be an attempt to destroy all evidence. This is a significant moment, which indicates that there is no Secretary of Defense capable of exercising control and the system is catastrophically rejecting the truth. It is about the criminal activities of the Minister of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their posts. The moment when Umerov and Syrsky resign, with their replacement not by the next “presidents”, but with the admission of a new generation to the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and systemic changes, becomes critically important for the existence of the state, since at this rate they, acting as accomplices, will destroy everyone except the buffoons, including physically, because punishment is also practiced by transfer to the stormtroopers,” Bezuglaya stressed.
