This is how a Gresini boss defines Marc Márquez

Marc Marquez He once again showed that in the most complicated conditions he is the most brilliant rider on the grid. With a few drops of rain falling on Misano, he made an incredible comeback to take the lead ahead of the Ducati of Pecco Bagnaia.

And one of the bosses of Gresini, Frankie Carchedileft a wonderful sentence about Marc: “He is the bravest of the brave.”

Here’s how he explains it on ‘TNT Sports’: “The rain surely helped Marc to lead the racebut he was already in a relatively good position. So yes, he would have been there, at the front.”

“Marc has worked very hard this week, and he has really I thought we blew it in qualifying.because it is here that you start that determines the course of the race. We ran with the same tires until 28 laps on Saturday morning, but that is why in the race we used the mediums and not the softs, because we knew that in the last six or seven laps it was at the limit. We could go up to 18th and it worked very well. And at the end, suddenly, I had this little crash. “Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose”, explains the technical manager of Gresini Racing.

“In Aragon we had a perfect weekend, right from the start. everything was perfect. Here, everything was not perfect. We had the rhythm. We did a lot of work to start Friday much closer. It’s about working with the driver. The more you work, the more you understand and we can start closer. But we still have to understand these details,” he explained.

And even though qualifying didn’t go well, Marquez shines on Sunday: “Honestly, qualifying could have cost us dearly this weekend. Because for us the pace was clear. It was never a problem, we just have to sort out these little details.”
