This is how the crypto pyramid scam of the beach bar manager of the financier who sued Alvise Pérez unfolded

Álvaro Romillo, known on social networks as Luis ‘CryptoSpain’filed a complaint with the State Attorney General against the leader of Se Acabó la Fiesta and now a Member of the European Parliament, Alvise Perez.

Luis “CryptoSpain” promised a company with returns of over 50% through his Madeira Invest Club platform. To enter, you had to pay 2,000 euros per year and the money invested was destined for luxury goods and cryptocurrencies.

As Francisco Jiménez, director of Zaballos Abogados, explains to LaSexta, “investors invest on average up to 100,000 euros.” And they have sold all of this through tax evasion.

In 2023, the National Securities Market Commission already considered it a financial beach bar. After that, CryptoSpain called them “our sons of bitches friends from the CNMV.”

But a week ago, overnight, closed its websites, social networks and all of its activities“As you know, the servers went down,” “we don’t even know that we can be the ones who can self-liquidate these assets,” Álvaro Romillo explained to his followers.

But the truth is that CryptoSpain has disappeared with all the money. In a letter to the prosecutor’s office that LaSexta had access to, he acknowledges “that the situation has become untenable and that he will not be able to respond to his members.

Behind so much talk, the justice system is now investigating whether another pyramid scam is hidden, with thousands of people affected and millions of euros missing. Francisco Jiménez, director of Zaballos Abogados, explains that “the reality is that they do not attribute any title to all these projects or their value. It was all a smokescreen.”
