Liam Payneformer member of the British group One Direction, died this Wednesday in Buenos Aires after falling from the third floor of a hotel in the Argentine capital, as confirmed by official sources. His body was found in an interior patio of the accommodation, as reported Bugle.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Security of the City of Buenos Aires in Efe, the police went to the Casa Sur hotel in the Palermo neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon after receiving the alert regarding “an aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
Apparently, the British artist would have “thrown from his bedroom balcony”, 14 meters high. As confirmed by the Buenos Aires emergency medical services, the fall caused “very serious injuries which caused immediate death” and “there was no possibility of resuscitation”

Liam had been staying at this hotel for several days. The singer traveled to Argentina to participate in the concert given by his former One Direction partner Niall Horan last October 2. However, he decides to stay a few more days to enjoy the country. “Very proud”wrote the artist on his Snapchat profile the day of the concert. “I can’t wait to sing one of your songs with you. I feel good” he added in another message.
The hours leading up to Liam’s death were marked by excess and lack of control. And the luxurious hotel room where the artist stayed, the Deluxe Suite, was found by the authorities completely destroyed.
