The popular clothing brand Berskabelonging to the Spanish group Inditex, has delayed the opening date of its new establishment in the city by a week. Jesus and Mary Streetwhich will replace the one on Concepción Street: it will be the next November 28as reported by sources close to ABC.
The store, currently being completed in the former Simago building, will be ready for the upcoming Christmas campaign. This street is one of the main commercial arteries of the capital, along with Cruz Conde and Gondomar.
So, with this new establishment, they will continue to be two operational stores that Berska owns in Córdoba, next to the one in the La Sierra shopping center, since the one on Concepción street, closed at the end of October, will move to the new one in Jesús y María, with its 17 employees.
As this newspaper has already reported, the new Berska property will be integrated into the new shopping center in which work is underway in this central street and which will occupy both the old Simago building, Jesús María street, numbers 5 and 7, and on the other hand the one known as the Cinema Palace, at 3, Duke of Hornachuelos.
Other companies
Alongside Berska, Inditex’s flagship brand will also be installed in this center, Zaraalthough we do not know when this operation will take place.
Another business being considered is Left-handersalso from the Amancio Ortega group and there was also talk at the time of a supermarket in another of the spaces of the Jesús and María complex.
This property, currently being finished, will have three floors (counting the loss) and a basement. In total, four commercial premises will be opened, totaling 10,000 square meters. Work began in March 2023 by the Vialti company.
