This is the Cheste circuit after the DANA, the stage where the Valencia MotoGP Grand Prix should have taken place

Nearly three weeks have passed since DANA struck Valencia and the Ricardo Tormo Tour was one of the affected areas. The final Grand Prix of the MotoGP World Championship is expected to be held there this weekend. AND ‘Jugones’ went on location to observe first-hand how he is doing.

Nicolas Colladodirector of the circuit, speaks of a “Dantesque panorama”: “The panorama we have at the moment is very different from the one we should have on Friday in the Grand Prix. Unfortunately what we can see is quite dantic.”

Going through the entrance to the circuit is complicated. Between mud and devastation. Of the two existing entrances, three were damaged. At the main access, the bridge which provides access from the road has fallen. “There has been work for almost two months,” explains Collado.

“This silence on the circuit leaves the body frozen”said the director.

AND Josep Pedrerol sends a message to everyone affected by DANA: “Rest assured, Valencia.”
