Cordoba is preparing to welcome cooking enthusiasts to the VI Amateur Bulltail Stew Competition, which will take place next November 30 at Victoria Market. This event, one of the most anticipated in the Córdoba gastronomic calendar, will reward the best interpretations of this typical dish of traditional fashion.

What should the recipe look like?

The competition has a modality completely amateuropen to all those who want to try their hand at preparing the traditional Cordovan oxtail stew. To guarantee a typical homemade stew, the organization has established that professional cooks and chefs are excluded from the competition.

Candidates must present their recipe in the traditional way, with the oxtail served on the bone and a homogeneous and creamy sauce, respecting the official recipe of the Brotherhood. Furthermore, the use of extra virgin olive oil and oxtail It is mandatory and only allows modifications to the ingredients which do not alter the basis of the recipe.

Likewise, each participant must bring the stew beforehand made in a panwith the possibility of heating and serving on site. The organization will provide a stove, a spoon and a forkin addition to a presentation plate, leaving the participant to choose the utensils he considers necessary for the presentation and final presentation.

Rewards and how to register
