Antonio García Ferreras, director of Al Rojo Vivo, commented on the importance of this first demonstration against the management of Mazón during the DANA disaster. A protest which had a great power of attraction and which demonstrates the general uneasiness of the Valencian people. For his part, Ferreras assured that “This is the first major sign of rejection of the leadership of Carlos Mazón” and there is “mud indignation” in the streets of Valencia.
“I believe that there is something very important today because today there are many people who are outraged, who are angry, who criticize the management of Carlos Mazón and many others who cannot participate in this demonstration because they are in places where communication is very complex,” he said. Furthermore, he stated that This is the “criticism” of the Valencian people.
He also stressed that Mazón and his government did not know how to manage “neither before DANA nor during DANA nor after DANA”: “Then it was a monumental disaster on the part of the Valencian political leaders.”
