How long until arrival villavesa? Where are you right now? The Commonwealth of the Pamplona Region updated the “Your Villavesa” mobile application with the aim that users of the Regional urban transport can view service information more easily and intuitively.
The application, updated for both Android as for IOSpresents a renewed design to offer a more comfortable and accessible navigation. The icon that identifies the application has also been renewed for this update and now features a green bus on a white background reflecting the corporate colors of the MCP. The application can now be downloaded or updated by accessing the Google Play (Android) and App Store (IOS – iPhone) application distribution platforms.
With the new version on the home screen, you can now view an interactive map and selected favorite stops. The interactive map allows you to explore the environment to find the stops and the nearest TUC card top-up points. By dragging and zooming the map, you can explore any area of the Pamplona region to locate TUC stops and lines related to them.
With the new version of the app, the home screen also displays the favorite stops. Once the user has marked one or more favorite stops, he can now quickly access them and check the next arrival times of the Villavesas.
Thanks to the main menu located at the bottom of the screen, you can easily access all the application features (lines, favorite stops, how to get there and a configuration section). As in previous versions, in the “lines” option you can consult detailed information on all lines and destinations.
The application also includes as a new feature the monitor bus route in real time from map. Simply select a line to observe the movement of its villavesas.
It should be remembered that the application allows know the time until Villavesa arrives, inform in real time if there are less than 45 minutes left or propose the expected time of passage if the time margin is longer. The update of the “Tu Villavesa” application is part of a digital evolution plan The TUC service has intensified following the award of the new contract to TCC. Although the application has already incorporated several improvements since the launch of the first version in March 2012, this is the most significant one made to the application.
Over the past five years, demand has been downloaded 293,695 times (84.4% on Android and 15.5% on IOS) and active users in June – latest data available – were 90,192 (90.1% on Android and 9.9% on IOS). It should be remembered that information on regional urban transport can also be consulted through the website www.infotuc.es, which in 2023 reached 520,000 unique users and registered a total of 1,690,000 sessions.
To communicate the new update, a campaign will be developed from today which will include posters on marquees, information stands in the villages, as well as the publication of messages and videos on social networks.
