This town of around 2,000 inhabitants has for years had the distinction of being one of the “the most beautiful cities in Spain”. Villafamés is located in the interior of the province of Castellon. When you arrive there, you can see it on top of a hill. The town is perfect for getting lost in its steep streets that will lead you to its old town and its historical and artistic complex.
The upper part of Villafamés is composed of narrow, winding streets and at the bottom there is a more linear layout. Arab and then Christian civilizations passed through the city. This attracts a lot of attention “Roca Grossa”a stone that does not go unnoticed on the main street.
