There was a time when there was a city that looked at the end of the world, where the waves roared heavily, and the wind brought legends about navigators, whales and sailors. There, in the very heart of the wild Costa and Morta, Malpika de Beregantinos Rose, the angle of Galicia, where the sea was: food, danger and refuge.
The story of this place talks about this century ago, when the giants of Mark Serkan Atlantic in their migrations, the people of Malpiki entered their waters in search of whales. It was the life of salt and a storm, indefinite dawn and long farewells.

In fact, this is declared a special zone of bird protection (Zepa) in the framework of Lic Costa da Morte.
During your visit to the islands, you cannot skip one of the oldest headlights on Costa -da -Morta, El Faro -de -grand, built in 1853 in La Granda. However, in order to get there, you must hire private transport from the port of Malpika, since there is no public transport.
