The Government of Castile-La Mancha and the majority trade union organizations of the Public Service approved this Monday, during the meeting of the General negotiation table for public service personnelthe proposed Public Employment Offer (OEP) for 2024 for the civil servant and worker staff of the General Administration, the non-university teaching staff of the Community Council Administration and the statutory staff of Sescam, which amounts to a total of 5,840.
The proposed public job offer for general administration, education and Sescam moved forward with votes in favor of CSIF, CCOO, FSES and UGTand no opposition, during the aforementioned meeting of the General Negotiation Table of public personnel, which was chaired by the Director General of the Civil Service, José Narváez; the general director of human resources for education, culture and sports, José Manuel Almeida; and the general director of human resources and transformation of Sescam, Iñigo Cortázar.
After the collective negotiation process carried out, the OEP is distributed as follows: 1,260 positions in the General Administration, including 596 for civil servants and 394 for worker personnel, 673 positions for Education and 3,907 for Sescam. Of the total, 5,262 places will be in free rotation (990 in General Administration, 639 in Education and 3,633 in Sescam), 425 for internal promotion and 153 for direct internal promotion in the position.
In this offer, a quota of at least 7 percent of the places offered is reserved for people with disabilities.with 2 percent of these places reserved for people with an intellectual disability and the remaining 5 percent for people who can demonstrate any other type of disability.
Once the General Negotiation Table is held, the public job offer for 2024 in the Administration of the Community Council of Castile-La Mancha will be submitted to the Government Council, upon proposal from the Ministry of Finance, Public Administrations and Digital Transformation, for approval by the Regional Executive.
This new offer is in addition to the successive public job offers that the Autonomous Government requests each year.as part of a major plan to promote public services. The objective is to reduce the rate of temporary employment, which in Castilla-La Mancha is, in itself, one of the lowest in Spain, in addition to protecting the workforce, providing opportunities for find a job in the Administration, facilitating opportunities for internal promotion. , promote the integration of people with disabilities into the public service and, ultimately, improve the quality of life of citizens, thus improving the quality of public services provided by the Regional Administration.
