The problems with the Prosecutor’s Office at the Supreme Court of the MEP and founding father of the Se Acabó La Fiesta (SALF) party, Alvise Pérez, could have a first step before the National Court.
While the Prosecutor’s Office has already sent to the Supreme Court the document in which a businessman from the cryptocurrency sector claims to have paid 100,000 euros in cash to the Spanish politician (after verifying the existence of evidence of a crime in this cash payment), the National Court Another investigation is opened, at the instigation of two consumer associations, allegedly harmed by the collapse and closure of the Madeira Invest Club.
The investigating court number 4 of the National Court issued an order on Tuesday declaring the opening of preliminary proceedings for the possible commission of crimes against the commercial company Madeira Invest Club. The initial complaint was filed by the National Association for the Defense of Spanish Consumption of Services (ANCES), which has around 200 associates and is present in other financial cases investigated by the courts such as the Ninmbus case, Herrero Brigantina or Juicy Fields.
The Association of Persons Affected by Cryptocurrency Investments (AAIC) and various law firms have joined the same complaint and are already looking for possible victims of the case, numbering several thousand. Remember that this financial club, which the National Securities Market Commission itself had warned that it did not have authorization to operate, promised returns of up to 53% on investments in digital art and luxury products.

As Jaime Navarro, president of ANCES, explained to elDiario.es, the association presented a letter to the National Court asking Alvise Pérez to return the 100,000 euros that Álvaro Romillo, nicknamed CryptoSpain, gave it, in order to to compensate some of the people concerned. .for a possible scam. In this sense, Romillo has placed himself at the “disposal” of Justice and also offers to liquidate his assets to compensate his investors with the assets he still holds and the money that appears in the Portuguese bank accounts. In the same letter, the association also requests that the SALF MEP declare as a witness a legal personality which would oblige him to be questioned despite the immunity he enjoys in the European Parliament.
