Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) is planning to introduce a loyalty program in passenger transportation for the first time.
This was stated by Rovshan Rustamov, President of ADY, to “Report”.
According to him, the project will begin soon:
“Under the “Miles” program applied in air transport, passengers will receive bonuses for the number of train trips.”
R. Rustamov stressed that the loyalty program will be integrated into the ADY mobile application:
“In addition, a number of new features are expected to be added to the mobile app.”
It should be noted that ADY currently transports passengers in the directions Baku-Pirshagi-Sumgait, Baku-Khirdalan-Sumgait, Baku-Agstafa-Baku, Baku-Gabala-Baku.
In January-July 2024, 4 million 524.2 thousand passengers were transported by rail transport in the country, 20.5% more than in the same period in 2023.
ADY carried 2.8 million passengers in 2021, 5.2 million in 2022 and 7.0 million in 2023.
