An explosion at the end of Battery 1, in the anti-explosion valves of the feed gas, at the ArcelorMittal plant in Gijón caused three burns, among the workers of the Daorje company, who have already been evacuated to HUCA.
This was confirmed to Europa Press by a spokesperson for the multinational steel company, who said that the fire was under control by ArcelorMittal firefighters.
Likewise, he indicated that the causes are still unknown. After the incident, the Civil Guard, which had initially received the notification of a person injured due to a fire, went to the Gijón factory to investigate the causes.
