Three Kazan students stole 8 million rubles from an SVO participant

Three Kazan students stole eight million rubles from an SVO participant. The young people were detained, the press service of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volgograd region reported.

The department explained that a 30-year-old soldier filed a police report for theft of funds from his account. During the investigation it was established that the money transfer took place on the territory of Tatarstan.

Police detained three young people who were studying at Kazan universities. According to law enforcement officers, one of them was the organizer of the robbery; the student gained access to an SVO participant’s mobile bank using Internet technologies. Two more guys participated in the withdrawal of stolen funds.

The detainees spent the money stolen from the military on vacations abroad and gambling in online casinos.
