The National Police have arrested three people involved in the disappearance of a 34-year-old man of Algerian nationality in Marbella (Málaga). Last December, a relative of the victim reported him missing, warning that he may be illegally detained. Two of the people investigated were arrested in cities in France with the collaboration of the authorities of the French country through European arrest and surrender orders requested by the agents from the judicial authority. The third person involved was located and detained at Malaga airport.
The case investigators began their investigation based on the complaint of the victim’s companion, who informed the officers that he had been detained against his will, claiming that on December 13 he received a call from him l ‘informing that he could not collect the child from school because he is “very busy”.
In the initial complaint, the victim’s wife provided a photograph of the condition of the car the victim usually used, having found it parked improperly, with the windows half down and the keys in the ignition. Since then, there has been no further news of the missing person.
During these eleven months, no one demanded any reward for his release and no news of his fate reached those around him. The agents also did not detect any movements of this person, we do not know where he is.
After analyzing the evidence and reconstructing the victim’s last movements, investigators found the last known steps of this person, so he was seen entering a garage in an urbanization in Marbella in his vehicle followed by another car with a falsified license plate. Then, after maneuvering between the cars, two individuals forced the now missing person into the rear seats of the second vehicle.
By combining all the information obtained, it was concluded that the perpetrators of the events were outside Spain. These were French citizens, residents of our country, who already knew that the National Police were after them. At this stage of the investigation, European arrest and surrender orders have been requested from the judicial authority for each of the persons identified.
