A boat with people on board capsized in the waters of the Volga, in the Yaroslavl region, killing three people. This was reported by the press service of the Northwest Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
“The Yaroslavl Transport Prosecutor’s Office controls the investigation of the criminal case initiated by the investigative body under Part 3 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of road safety rules and exploitation of water transport, resulting in negligent death of two or more persons)”, – the message said.
According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region, the ship capsized near the settlements of Polyany and Andreevskoye. There were four people on board, one managed to get out of the water under his own power and three died. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations recovered their bodies from the Volga.
