On October 27 and November 3, 2024, three people tried to participate in the exam instead of other people in the exams to evaluate the results of special training on ethical behavior of taxi drivers and normative legal acts regulating transportation of passengers by car.
Oku.Az informs that the State Examination Center has published information in this regard.
It was reported that one of the main issues that the exams conducted by the State Examination Center focus on is transparency in the exams:
“The participation of candidates in the exams on equal terms, the monitoring of compliance with relevant standards and other measures implemented are aimed at ensuring objectivity in the assessment of the knowledge of the participants.
As is known, the identity of the participants is determined during the entrance to the exam building in the exams conducted by the center. “One of the main goals here is to prevent someone else from entering the exam building instead of the person registered to take the exam.”
It was noted that this violation of the norm generates legal responsibility and requires the adoption of appropriate measures by legislation:
“Based on the information provided about these people, law enforcement agencies have launched investigations.
In other types of examinations conducted by the Center in previous years, especially in entrance examinations to higher educational institutions, cases of attempts by other persons to enter the examination building instead of some applicants were identified. We draw your attention that law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal case in relation to those events under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and these persons have been brought to justice.”
The Center once again reminds citizens that they should be careful in these matters, in no case should they create conditions for violation of the law and should not ignore the tempting offers of certain people:
“The relevant institutions will take the most serious measures against those who violate the requirements of current legislation in this area.”
