The Roig Arena, the future multi-purpose hall in Valencia promoted by Juan Roig, begins tomorrow, Thursday September 26, its first ticket sale for the Hans Zimmer Concert (from 2:00 p.m., on www.roigarena.com).
The famous composer is the first major artist to publicly announce a concert in the multi-purpose hall. The multiple Oscar and Grammy Award winner will return to Europe’s most important stages in 2025 and 2026 with the show “Hans Zimmer Live – The Next Level”, whose European tour includes a stopover in March 26, 2026 at the Roig Arena.
The next level promises a brand new show with innovative electronic soundscapes and spectacular lighting production. The “rock star songwriter and Hollywood rebel” (BBC), is currently embarking on a sold-out North American tour. “For me, every show is a new journey of discovery,” says Zimmer. “With ‘The Next Level,’ I want to surprise my fans and take them into a world of sound like they’ve never experienced before,” he adds.
Hans Zimmer composed more than 500 titles for the cinema which together have grossed more than $28 billion at the global box office. Zimmer is the recipient of two Academy Awards®, three Golden Globes®, four Grammys®, an American Music Award and a Tony Award®.
Notable works include Dune, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, Blade Runner 2049 (co-written with Benjamin Wallfisch) and Dunkirk, as well as recent film scores including Top Gun: Maverick, Wonder Woman 1984 and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. Most recently, Zimmer won the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Music Written for a Motion Picture for Dune. In 2019, Zimmer composed the score for the live-action remake of The Lion King, for which he received a Grammy® nomination for Best Score for Visual Media.
Zimmer has been performing successful concerts around the world with his Hans Zimmer Live tour. Their acclaimed 2022 European tour has almost thrilled 400,000 supporters in spring 2023 and completely sold out.
The Roig Arena will be the future large indoor multipurpose hall in the city of Valencia, where sports, entertainment and corporate events will be held. The project has a budget of more than 280 million euros fully paid by Juan Roigpresident of Mercadona, with his personal assets. The Roig Arena, which will enter service in the second half of 2025, will have an estimated maximum capacity of 20,000 spectators in concert mode.
